Today there are 40 million children who have lost both parents to disease. In many countries, tens of thousands of displaced people and refugees are created by violence or natural disasters -- tsunamis, hurricanes, floods, or earthquakes. Relief in dire situations is one of the most difficult to get right, but we must do so to help the victims of the circumstances of political or natural disasters.
