Jenna loves working with students through Campus Outreach for Global Fast. Coming to GF in September of 2010, she has always been drawn to helping people in poverty – especially after seeing poverty up close during a student trip to Thailand. Currently, Jenna works with students and charities to catalyze campus-wide events and sponsor excellent projects. Since graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in International Business, she took a year to live in Poland and teach English. Her main passion is the aid and rescue of women sold into sex slavery, forced into underage marriages, or otherwise oppressed within their society. To deepen her knowledge of global cultures, Jenna hopes to travel the world for a year, visiting India, Nepal and Brazil.
Coming to Global Fast January 2011, Kimberly works behind the scenes to keep our operations up and running. She is a natural writer who loves creating and shaping GF communications. In 2005 she came face-to-face with global poverty while working in an orphanage in Nicaragua to serve high-risk girls with classes in music and dance. The girls learned creative outlets to grow beyond their challenging environments. Because of this experience Kimberly hopes to heal children and orphans globally through exposure to creative arts. Graduating from American University with a BA in music, she taught music to students K-8 at two DC area schools. Kimberly is currently in graduate school at Pepperdine University getting her MFA in Screenwriting.
